These versatile reusable hose fittings meet all performance criteria similar to those of permanently secured crimp fittings.




Hydraulic systems exert tremendous pressure within hoses and fittings as they propel hydraulic fluid through the network. The system's vulnerability lies within inadequately installed fittings. While crimped fittings withstand the hydraulic fluid's pressure, they are not reusable. In contrast, reusable hydraulic fittings establish a secure connection at the end of a hydraulic line, ensuring unwavering strength under pressure when expertly installed.

How to install the reusable hose end

Begin by clamping a reusable hose end socket securely into the jaws of a bench vice.

Insert one end of a hydraulic hose into the fitting held in the vice. Rotate the hose counterclockwise to thread it into the socket. Keep turning until the hose is fully seated in the fitting.

Apply clean hydraulic fluid to lubricate the mandrel assemble of the reusable hydraulic fitting. Gently slide the mandrel in and out of the socket and into the hydraulic hose's end to ensure the connection is well-lubricated.

Carefully push the mandrel into the socket until its threads align with the socket's front edge. Use an adjustable wrench to turn the nipple nut clockwise, threading the mandrel securely into the socket. Cease turning when there is a minimal 1/32 to 1/16 inch gap between the mandrel assembly's front edge and the socket's front face.

Stabilize the front nipple nut with an adjustable wrench. Using a second adjustable wrench, turn the rear mandrel nut counterclockwise to finalize the assembly process.
