How to install the reusable hose end

Begin by clamping a reusable hose end socket securely within the jaws of a bench vice. This ensures a firm hold as you work.

Carefully insert one end of a hydraulic hose into the fitting held in the vice. Rotate the hose counterclockwise, threading it seamlessly into the socket. Keep turning until the hose is fully seated in the fitting, ensuring a snug and secure connection.

Generously lubricate the mandrel assembly of the reusable hydraulic fitting with clean hydraulic fluid. This step ensures smooth movement as you slide the mandrel in and out of the socket and into the hose end, lubricating the internal connection with precision.

Firmly push the mandrel into the socket, aligning the assembly threads with the socket's front edge. Use an adjustable wrench to rotate the nipple nut clockwise, threading the mandrel into place. Cease turning when a slight gap of 1/32 to 1/16 inch remains between the mandrel assembly's front edge and the socket's face.

Stabilize the front nipple nut with one adjustable wrench, while using another to turn the rear mandrel nut counterclockwise. This final step completes the assembly, ensuring a perfect and secure fit.
