Step-by-step Guide to Install the Reusable Hose End
Step 1: Securely clamp a reusable hose end socket within the jaws of a sturdy bench vice for stable installation.
Step 2: Insert the end of a hydraulic hose into the fitting secured in the vice. With a counterclockwise motion, thread the hose into the socket until it reaches the fitting's base, ensuring a firm connection.
Step 3: Enhance the connection by lubricating the mandrel assembly of the reusable hydraulic fitting using clean hydraulic fluid. Gently slide the mandrel in and out of the socket, lubricating the interior for optimal connection.
Step 4: Insert the mandrel into the socket until the assembly threads align with the socket's front edge. Using an adjustable wrench, turn the nipple nut clockwise to secure the mandrel into the socket. Halt when there is a precise 1/32 to 1/16 inch gap between the mandrel assembly's front edge and the socket's face.
Step 5: With an adjustable wrench, hold the front nipple nut steady. Utilize a second adjustable wrench to turn the rear mandrel nut counterclockwise, completing the assembly with precision and care.
