How to flawlessly install the reusable hose end

Begin by securing a reusable hose end socket in the bench vice jaws.

Introduce one end of the hydraulic hose into the fitting held firm in the vice. Rotate the hose counterclockwise to thread it snugly into the socket, continuing this motion until the hose reaches the fitting's base.

Apply clean hydraulic fluid to lubricate the mandrel assembly of the reusable hydraulic fitting. Gently slide the mandrel in and out of the socket, ensuring the interior connection is thoroughly lubricated.

Insert the mandrel into the socket until the assembly threads align with the socket's front edge. Use an adjustable wrench to turn the nipple nut clockwise, threading the mandrel into place. Halt when a gap of 1/32 to 1/16 inch remains between the mandrel and socket's front face.

Maintain the front nipple nut's stability with an adjustable wrench. Simultaneously, use a second wrench to turn the rear mandrel nut counterclockwise, thus completing the assembly.
